Description:

The Onondaga Historical Museum explores the fascinating history of Onodaga County and the 19 unique towns that exist within it. The permanent collection at the museum is broken into five themed exhibits, including "Crossroads of New York", an exhibit focusing on the varying modes of transportation used over time, and "Power of the People", which explores the many characters who have been significant in the history of the region. It museum is located in the city center, northwest of Syracuse University.

Open Wed. - Fri., 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.; Sat. - Sun., 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
